I’m Dr. John Gonzalez, a urogynecologist and cosmetic surgeon at Acadia Women’s Health in Crowley, Louisiana. I’m a licensed surgeon, board certified through the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery, and I’ve spent more than 25 years caring for the women of Acadiana. Over that time I’ve performed thousands of surgeries, and I’ve completed the MIGS exam recognizing advanced expertise in minimally invasive gynecologic techniques, earned through both formal training and years of hands-on clinical work. When Dr. Michelle Owens and I opened our practice in 1999, what thrilled us most was the chance to walk with women through one of the most precious moments of their lives: childbirth.
